The University of Tennesse Health Science Center College of Pharmacy is partnering with the Therapuetic Research Center to launch a comprehensive online pharmacy technician training program. As the practice of pharmacy expands, the demand for competent and capable technicians is critical to support the role of pharmacists. Job growth for pharmacy technicians continues to outpace the national average for all other occupations. This pharmacy technician training program will teach you the necessary skills to success in a fast-paced, fulfilling pharmacy practice setting.
Our next cohort will begin on January 23rd, 2026. On that day, learners will have access to a best-in-class pharmacy technician training program that encompasses courses, assessments, and learning activities designed to prepare you to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. More details about course structure, program expectations, and more will be provided the week of the start of the program. You must register by 7pm ET the business day before the program is scheduled to start. Please plan accordingly!
